The cast nets seen on this show were supplied by Charlie K of East Coast Nets.  These nets are all hand made and are specifically designed for bunker (menhaden) netting in the region.  They are the first choice of charter captains from Virginia through Massachusetts.  Charlie not only makes great nets, but he can teach you how to throw them!
The raging currents and big fish made the net choice especially critical.  A Frabill Powercatch net with it's extendable handle was used and ensured that none of the fish were lost at boat-side.  This is a a great net that stores easily and all you have to do is slide, lock and load and it is ready to go!
The boat used was a 2895CC Triton powered by twin 250hp Mercury Verados.  This boat is the real deal.
