Captains Andy LoCascio and
Rich Tenreiro hook up with Capt Dave Chieffo of
Block
Island Fishing Charters (401-787-2321) for an incredible day of
fishing that included monster stripers on eels and on the troll, as well
as an incredible fluke bite in the water around Block Island. This
show is a must see for anyone who can travel to Block for just for the day
(or a long weekend) or can get their own boat to the island (just s short
ride from Montauk, NY or Point Judith, RI). The eel and trolling
techniques illustrated in this show can be used anywhere in the northeast!
If you have questions about any of the
equipment used during the show, please contact us
or send us a message.

| Aside from being an incredibly successful eel
fisherman, Captain Dave is one of the regions top authorities on
downrigger fishing. The downrigger system used on this show was
setup and supplied by Captain Dave. All his boats are equipped
exclusively with
Cannon Mag20DTS downriggers. |

| The raging currents and big fish made the net choice especially
critical. A
Frabill
Powercatch net with it's extendable handle was used and ensured that
none of the fish were lost at boat-side. This is a a great net that stores easily and all
you have to do is slide, lock and
load and it is ready to go! |

|
| The boat used was a
2895CC Triton
powered by twin 250hp Mercury Verados. This boat is the real deal.
With a deep-v hull and sharp entry, the 2895 will knife through big seas
that would leave most boats back at the dock. The deck layout
makes it the perfect platform for both inshore and offshore,
plugging, trolling, or fishing your favorite hot spot at anchor.

| Andy & Rich and the entire
crew stayed at the
Island Home (401-466-5944).
This is a beautiful restored Victorian Bed & Breakfast. The inn is
conveniently located between the village of Old Harbor and the Great Salt
Pond, with panoramic views of the harbor, ocean and surrounding countryside.
The warm & comfortable setting, with inviting rooms, cozy nooks and
sprawling lawns make the inn ideal for winding down after a day of fishing.
It is also perfect for a family getaway, and only a short walk to town,
beaches and marinas. |

|
LoadRite supplied the tandem axel roller trailed used to haul the
boat. This trailer made launching and recovery a breeze and
provided a real sense of security on the road.
