Captains Andy LoCascio, Rich Tenreiro, and John Marino of American Sportfishing Charters (516 457-8715) join forces to get in on the fluke bite on the south shore of Long Island.  They use 4oz and 6oz bucktails and land some very impressive fish.  They use a teaser rig designed for whole squid baits and also demonstrate stemming techniques.    If you have questions about any of the equipment used during the show, please contact us or  send us a message.

The raging current made the net choice especially critical.  A Frabill Powercatch net with it's extendable handle was used and ensured that none of the fish were lost at boat-side.  This is a a great net that stores easily and all you have to do is slide, lock and load and it is ready to go!
The boat used was a 225CC Triton powered by a 250hp Mercury Verado.  This boat is the real deal.
